Milwaukee Tool has launched the M18 FUEL Overhead Rotary Hammer with Integrated Dust Extraction for ceiling drilling. The 2-in-1 design supports dust compliance and enables drilling for small ceiling anchors.

“This first to world solution bridges the gap between safety managers’ expectations and operators’ preferences for drilling large quantities of small holes in the ceiling,” said Brittany Sellnow, group product manager. “Overhead drilling is very fatiguing for the user and our 2-in-1 design delivers improved ergonomics for overhead work compared to traditional rotary hammer and dust extractor attachments, while maintaining Table 1 compliance.”

The M18 FUEL Overhead Rotary Hammer with Integrated Dust Extraction is designed for repetitive overhead drilling applications. The built-in dust extractor creates a compact tool with balance and simplified dust compliance. The side handle, located near the rear handle, allows for body posture during application. For versatility this handle can be inserted on the left or right side of the tool and collapsed for storage. Equipped with an Anti-Vibration system (AVS), this rotary hammer minimizes vibration and small movements.

The POWERSTATE Brushless motor delivers more than 100 holes per charge on a Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT CP3.0 battery. This SDS Plus rotary hammer also has the power to drill up to 5/8-in. holes in concrete. AUTOSTOP Kickback control offers safety for the operator by preventing over-rotation in a bind-up. With ONE-KEY, users can choose between default and low sensitivity settings for AUTOSTOP feature, in addition to tool tracking and management.

The integrated dust extractor features AUTOPULSE Filter Cleaning Mechanism that automatically cleans the dust extractor after each use and is designed with HEPA filters.
